Every Islander reel is built to deliver smooth performance year after year. This page offers detailed guides and videos to help you clean, maintain, and repair your gear — so it’s always ready for the next cast.

Islander Repair Program

Non-warranty repairs: $50 handling fee, plus additional necessary parts (shipping not included)
Warranty Repairs: All warranty repairs must be handled by Islander directly. $50 handling fee (shipping not included).

Line Removal: To best service your reel, our technicians require line removed from the reel. Reels with line on them arriving at Islander for repair will be removed and discarded, and a line removal fee will be applied.

Islander will contact you by email for payment when service is complete. Please do not send cash or cheque with your repair.

Current lead time: 10 weeks. Repair lead times vary seasonally – make sure to plan ahead!
