Mike and Nathan have always been dedicated steelheaders, so when they got the chance to visit our shop a few years back, it was a big deal. They came by to see what we were working on, and got to hold our C5 prototype. The anticipation was instant, and the connection they built with our team left a lasting impression—especially for Nathan, whose smile was ear to ear as he explored the shop and talked reels with @reelninja from our building team. Fast forward to this fall, and after patiently waiting, Mike finally got his hands on the real thing and took it out on the river. What made it even more personal? The reel he received was assembled by @reelninja , who he and Nathan had connected with during their visit. Their feedback left us smiling as much as they did that day in the shop. Mike shared, “Absolutely impressed with this reel and its complete performance. Runs extremely smooth with that work horse feeling to it. The more minutes I used it, the more it became an extension of my arm. Then I was able to see how it performed when fighting a fish… extremely smooth with the feeling of power in the handles giving one even more confidence in landing a fish.
